My name is Walter Cornett and I live in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. I shoot action sports primarily but also provide team and individual portraits for youth sports leagues. I also love to photograph live music events. Basketball at all levels has been my focus since I started shooting Kentucky basketball games for my blog at WildcatWorld.com. But I photograph other sports as well: baseball, softball, soccer, track, tennis and lacrosse.
The name of this site came from my love of basketball, Kentucky basketball in particular. A three-point shot (also known as a three-point field goal, three-pointer, three, or trey) is the most valuable of all shots from a basketball court. It is a field goal in a basketball game made from beyond the three-point line, a designated arc surrounding the basket. A successful attempt is worth three points, in contrast to the two points awarded for shots made inside the three-point line.
