Starting in 2009, Three Point Shots once provided some of Kentucky’s best sports photos.  I cover University of Kentucky men’s basketball through my blog WildcatWorld.com and have been the official photographer of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) Boys’ and Girls’ Sweet 16® (2018, 2019, 2020).  I have also been the official photographer for a number of other KHSAA state championship events to include volleyball, bowling, cheer, dance and archery since 2017.  I ended my relationship with the KHSAA in 2021 after they withheld payment of photo sales commissions for 2019-2020 for nearly 10 months and I completely stopped photographing high school sports commercially for individuals and teams in 2021.

The name of my company came from a love of basketball.   A three-point shot (also known as a three-point field goal, three-pointer, three, or trey) is the most valuable of all shots from a basketball court.  It is a field goal in a basketball game made from beyond the three-point line, a designated arc surrounding the basket. A successful attempt is worth three points, in contrast to the two points awarded for shots made inside the three-point line.  The name reflects my purpose in capturing those most valuable of sports memories at all levels of competition.
